Проевропеизм, иногда называемый европейским юнионизмом,^[1]^[2] - это политическая позиция, преследующая цели евроинтеграции и Евросоюза.^[3] Её поддерживают еврофедералисты, стремящиеся к созданию Соединённых Штатов Европы. Родственный термин - "еврофилия".

Противоположной позицией выступает евроскептицизм, скептически или негативно относящийся к евроинтеграции. Более общий термин - "антиевропеизм".

Совет Европы: международная организация, призванная отстаивать права человека, демократию, верховенство права в Европе, а также содействовать европейской культуре. Она включает в себя 47 государств-членов с общим населением более 820 миллионов человек.
Организация по безопасности и сотрудничеству в Европе: крупнейшая в мире межправительственная организация по безопасности с 57 государств-членов, в основном в Европе и северном полушарии.
