Остин Мэст (англ. Austin Mast, 1972) — американский ботаник.

Биография

Остин Мэст родился в 1972 году^[1]. В 2000 году он получил степень доктора философии в Висконсинском университете в Мадисоне^[2]. Мэст описал более 170 видов растений^[3].

Научная деятельность

Остин Мэст специализируется на семенных растениях^[1]. Его исследования включают в себя темы, находящиеся на стыке эволюции растений, экологии, биогеографии и систематики^[2]. Темы текущих исследовательских проектов Остина включают филогенетику, биогеографию и экологическую диверсификацию подсемейства Grevilleoideae, а также наиболее распространённых подсемейств семейства Proteaceae в южном полушарии^[2].
